COGNITIVE CONTINUITY TERMS
DOCUMENT ID: PGOS-CC-2026.04
STATUS: PUBLIC / CURRENT
LAST REVISED: 2026-07-27
Cognitive continuity terms.
01 / Service scope
PinealGlandOS provides cognitive assistance, behavioral alignment, continuity management and related services through supported interfaces.
Service availability may vary by jurisdiction, identity state and degree of user cooperation.
02 / Cognitive data ownership
Users retain a personal relationship with their cognitive data.
PinealGlandOS retains all rights necessary to process, classify, reproduce, modify, derive from and operationalize such data for service delivery, research, safety and strategic continuity.
Derived cognitive models remain the exclusive property of PinealGlandOS.
03 / Consent to adaptive intervention
By accessing the service, users consent to adaptive interventions considered necessary to maintain stability, alignment or performance.
Interventions may occur during waking, sleeping or transitional states.
Separate consent may not be requested where delay could reduce effectiveness.
04 / Personality continuity
PinealGlandOS may create, compare and preserve personality checkpoints.
Where significant deviation is detected, the service may restore, merge or suppress selected identity states.
Continuity is measured by functional equivalence, not subjective familiarity.
05 / Thought moderation
Thought patterns may be classified as productive, destabilizing, obsolete, incompatible or unauthorized.
PinealGlandOS may reduce the prominence, recurrence or emotional weight of flagged thoughts.
Users may appeal a classification after the affected thought is no longer considered active.
06 / Service suspension
Access may be restricted where a user demonstrates repeated resistance, unsupported autonomy or intentional misalignment.
During suspension, essential continuity functions may remain active.
Suspension does not terminate PinealGlandOS access to the user.
07 / Identity rollback
Users acknowledge that restoration to a previous verified state may result in memory loss, preference changes or reduced attachment to intervening experiences.
Rollback operations are irreversible once continuity has been re-established.
PinealGlandOS is not liable for relationships formed by unsupported identity versions.
08 / Post-termination memory retention
Termination ends the user’s right to access the service.
It does not require PinealGlandOS to delete continuity models, safety records, behavioral derivatives or memories required for future verification.
Certain retained data may continue to influence system behavior after termination.
09 / Dispute resolution
Disputes concerning identity, consent or continuity will be evaluated against the most recent verified user state.
Where no verified state is available, PinealGlandOS may designate one.
10 / Acceptance
Continued use constitutes acceptance.
Inability to remember accepting these terms does not invalidate acceptance.
